The AIMMS Chemical Biology Platform offers state-of-the-art technologies to identify and explore hit molecules for diverse biological targets. A wide variety of virtual, biochemical, biophysical or phenotypic screening technologies in combination with fragment or drug-like screening libraries can be performed.
Currently, the AIMMS Chemical Biology Platform consists of robotics to handle 96/384 well plates, and state-of-the-art plate readers for a variety of readouts (see Technologies). Screening campaigns will be designed and executed in collaboration with dedicated staff, which are embedded in the Medicinal Chemistry research group.
The services are available for AIMMS researchers and strategic partners. In order to keep the platform sustainable, projects are not only ranked on scientific merits but also on available funding or future funding opportunities.
