This means that the STAR graduate programme will be continued, now aiming for international MSc students, complying with the Mobility Rule as defined within Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions.

During the next coming weeks we will focus on finalizing the contract agreement and initializing the administrative procedures. If everything turns out as envisioned, the AIMMS STAR-PLUS round with a selection process of international Master’s students can start within the next months. This selection of the four best research proposals and related candidates will take place during the academic year September 2016 – June 2017. Like in AIMMS-STAR each potential candidate should make use of the translational expertise within research groups of AIMMS. Amongst others, a primary aim is to develop and expand the scientific knowledge on antimicrobial resistance in order to precipitate the design and development of novel antimicrobial drugs.

This will result in 4 PhD positions from September 2017 – September 2021.
