Prof. Laurent Elkaim
Prof. Laurent Elkaim was born in France in 1964. In 1992, he completed his PhD under the supervision of Professor Samir Zard at the École Polytechnique, working on fluorine and alkyne chemistry. In 1993, he started a research group at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Techniques Avancées (ENSTA ParisTech), in Paris, where he became Professor in 2001. Since 2016, Prof. Laurent Elkaim is Head of the Laboratoire de Synthèse Organique (ENSTA/Polytechnique/CNRS). His main research interests are Isocyanide, MCRs and heterocycles. He is co-author of over 130 publications.
